Wieke Gur

Wieke Gur is the founder of BahasaKita which was launched in 2007. She is a marketing graduate from the Faculty of Economy, University of Indonesia, she attended Institute for International Studies in Shizuoka, Japan before studying Information Management at Curtin University in Perth, Australia.

Wieke is responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy for BahasaKita. She leads the design and development of its infrastructure; plans and design how to present information you see on the computer screen so that they are easy to find and understand; engaging and compelling.

Wieke currently sits on the board of Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth, Inc – a non- profit Organisation based in Perth that promotes the teaching of Indonesian language and fostering cultural links between Australia and Indonesia at all levels of society.
