When you ask a question that demands a number as its answer, such as the number of people, weight and measurements; you use just one question-word: berapa.

- How old are you?
- Berapa nomor telepon Anda?
- What’s your phone number?
You can also add prefix ‘ke-‘ to this question word to mean ‘what number’ in a numerical series.
- Kamu anak perempuan keberapa? Saya anak perempuan kedua.
- What number daughter are you? I am the second daughter
